Where to travel in France

Hi everybody today we are going to talk about a little region in France which is very well known to many, some know it from the movies, or from famous artists. Have any of you traveled to South France? Or to the Côte d’Azur? To the  Languedoc-Roussillon Region. Its a romantic area called Vermillion, where a town two hours drive from Barcelona is situated, it is Collioure and it is beautiful.

Collioure is found in the Languedoc-Roussillon Region of Southern France, at only 30 km from the Spanish-French border.

A romantic spot where Spanish and French Catalan cultures meet each other. There are many things to do in Collioure, but it is quite a small village that can be visited in a few hours. Collioure’s beautiful church, the Notre-Dame-des-Anges and a huge fortress called Château Royal de Collioure make it the perfect spot to visit. 

If you are in the area for a weekend getaway, we recommend you to visit this beautiful region, especially some of the pretty villages nearby like Perpignon. Driving from Collieure continue to the East, Antibes is a petite seaside town. Picasso loved it so much that the town made a museum dedicated to his works.

Located in the mountains and the Riviera, if you drive further north East, the village of Eze has fantastic views over the Mediterranean below. 

All this region is a seaside wonder where you can eat the best seafood! Feel the warm air and see places and areas where perhaps one day they will use this picturesque area for the Game of Thrones.
